About The Nursery

The Nursery is a 42 place nursery set in Victorian School building along the River Kennet.

We are a committee run nursery which consists of volunteers and parents.

Admission Policy

On enquiry parents will be invited for an introductory visit to view the nursery. The child’s name will be added on to the waiting list or if the space is available and you wish to start immediately, when the nursery place is offered subject to availability in order to secure the place we require a deposit of £50.00 which is refunded off your last invoice.

Prior to your child’s start date pre visits will be arranged between yourselves and a member of staff, this will also involve a chance for you as parents to ask questions and fill out all the required registration forms.

A minimum a 2 whole days or 4 sessions for any age child is preferable.

Staffing

The nursery is run by a Nursery Manager and a Deputy Manager. All senior members of staff are NNEB or NVQ 3 qualified with 3years or more experience in childcare working with all ages from 3months to 5years.

The nursery also employs nursery assistant and students working towards their NVQ qualification which could be level 2 then going on to level 3. We employ a chef who prepares fresh cooked meals everyday in our fully equipped kitchen on site.
